Art direction & visual design

Myself, one other design systems designer and two design technologists worked closely with the Connected Stores team of 6 product designers to systemize existing visual language for the Caper Cart and bring it closer to the core brand. We audited their current design implementation, worked with the team to find component and UX pattern solutions, and clear out tech and design debt with full scale migrations. The end result was 50 new components in Figma, 10 in code, over 100 sematic-level tokens driving white label theming, UX pattern documentation, a design source of truth, and a cleaner more on-brand product experience.

The Caper product after going through a rebrand and design system migration.
